Powder Brows

Powder brows look a lot like your natual brows, and are sometimes called ombre brows.  With powder brows the tail at the end of hte brow is a lot darker, while it slowly and gradually fades and looks a lot more natural at the beginning.

This permanent makeup technique offers a more subtle,  soft pencil or powdered shadow effect closely mimicking the appearance of conventional brow makeup.  This technique lasts longer than microblading with up to 5 years before requiring a second touch-up appointment.  Microblading and the powder brow technique can be combined for a look that is softly textured, defined and on-trend!

What's the process?

Unlike the microblading technique where individual strokes are manually created, this technique uses an electric pen with tiny needles that punture the skin to deposit colour and gradually build on th depth of colour, and shape of the brow.

Who is a good candidate?

Anyone who prefers a fuller or longer lasting brows. The powder eyebrow tattoo technique is particularly popular with blonde and senior clients but not limited too. Powder Brow technique is also recommended for those who wish to achieve gracefully arched and beautifully coloured, yet softly defined brows without the use of individual hair strokes. Powder Brows are great for any skin type, unlike microblading, which in not suitable for those with oily skin.  Powder Brows have a more "filled-in" look, the healed results appear like softly shaded brow pencil or powder.

Do Powder Brows scab?

Yes, your brows will scab as they heal themselves. Do not pick the scabs as this might damage the skin and greatly affect the retention of the pigment. The colour will fade about 40% as they heal.  It takes about 2 weeks fo the brows to fully heal over but a full 4-6 weeks for the true colour to reveal itselft.

How much do Powder Brows fade?

The finish of Powder Brows is soft, making it look more natural and subtle than the old style of eyebrow tattooing which looks very harsh and strong.

How long does it take to heal?

Superficial healing should take more or less 7-14 days.
