Goodbye eyelash curler, hello lash lift! This innovative treatment lifts lashes directly from the root up!
What is a lash lift?
A Lash Lift is the newest in semi-permanent lash enhancement that makes the most of your natural lashes. No extensions required! Unlike the traditional perming system of wrapping lashes around a sponge rod, which can cause the lashes to over-curl and look short and stubby. Instead, Lash Lift uses different sized silicone pads in combination with a gentle perming solution. Each lash is "lifted" individually, creating a perfect curl for your lash length and eye shape. With lifted lashes, your eyes immediately appear more open and bright. Your natural lashes appear fuller and longer.
How long does it last and how long is the treatment?
The treatment takes approximately an hour with results lasting 8 - 10 weeks. Make your eyes pop even more with a lash tint, which can be done at the same time.
What should I do before my appointment?
There is no major preparation required for a lash lift. It's best not to apply mascara or eye makeup on the day of your appointment. Possibly keep oil and lotions off your lashes as this can affect the overall process.
Are there any risks associated with the procedure?
Lash Lifts are a relatively gentle and non-invasive procedure. There is a small risk of an allergic reaction to the lash lift products and those with extremely sensitive or watery eyes may not be the best candidates.
Is it safe for my eyes?
We use only the most gentle and VEGAN-friendly lash lift products on the market. All products are designed specifically for use around the eye area and are entirely water-soluble. Irritation or allergic reactions are very rare and we patch test before every lash lift.
What is Eyelash tint?
Eyelash tint is a form of hair dye developed for specific use on the eyelashes. The effect of tinting produces a similar effect to mascara. It's a perfect replacement of the mascara as it visibly lenghthens, darkens and thickens the appearance of eyelashes without smudging, lotting or rubbing off. Eyebrow tinting gives you a bolder, natural looking eyebrows since the acutal hair of the is tinted to a darker color, eliminating that "drawn on" look.
How long does an eyelash tint last?
As each lash reaches the end of its growth cycle it will fall out and cause the darker look of your lashes to gradually fade over time. Your eyelash tint will last around 4-6 weeks, depending on the growth cycle of you lashes.
Can I wear mascara with eyelash tint?
Although there is no rule that says you cannnt, there is not need to wear mascara as it gives you the look as if you are already wearing it. You will see a difference after the procedure.
Is eyelash tinting safe?
Women started tinting their lashes and eyebrows long time ago. The history of beauty was really tough and long but today this process is much safer and has almost no consequences if done by a licensed professional. What is the difference with lash eyelift and eyelash perm?
While the perm curls your lashes, the lift "lifts" your lashes up from the base. Using the same chemical solution as the perm, the lash lift uses more of a speed bump shaped device, rather than a cylindrical rod. Eyelash lift takes the same amount of time as a perm, but should last slightly longer.
Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness and thickness of natural eyelashes. The extensions may be made from several materials including mink, silk, synthetic, human or horse hair. The lashes are placed hair by hair on your own lashes, so that your own lashes are therefore extended.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically 6-8 weeks. That said, because each person's lash growth is somewhat variable (just hair growth), we suggest light lash maintenace every three to four weeks to maintain a full look.
Do eyelash extensions ruin my natural lashes?
Although this is the biggest myth, they do not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lahses. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes.
How I you shower with eyelash extensions?
You many want to avoid showering for a day or so unless it is necessary. High water pressure is more likely to damage the adhesive than the moisture and water itself. After the first few days, you can get your eyelahes wet without worry. Using shampoo and rinsing them is a good idea; as extensions can trap dirt and bacteria, leading to serious infections, including pink eye.
